Off-topic but this "a Phoenix rising from the ashes" thing has got me thinking.
We know how much Gaga is ****ing terrified of the 27 Club and dying a celebrity's death á la Diana.
BUT
What if, she exploits it? Imagine:
Finishes tour - March 20.
Break etc etc
Birthday - March 28
She tweets "LADY GAGA IS DEAD" and goes completely silent for like a month while she re-records vocals for the album; no tweets, no interviews, no photos whatsoever, nothing.
Then at the end of April there's like a press release, or a video or website with a live countdown all pointing towards one specific date which is the launch of the app and single release.

Not saying it's gonna happen, but it'd be pretty ****ing cool if it did. The press would go ******* crazy.
Not to mention it would be ultra-****ing-controversial. Imagine the meltdowns if she pretended to join the 27 club just for album promotion? It would slay.
Not going to lie I was nervous that my date would get postponed
I feel so bad for her omg
She needs to stop being so self-less
She needs to sit her ass in a bed for a few months
She needs to stop working so hard
She needs a minimum 3 month break after the tour
I won't complain for the waiting anymore, I just want her to be at her absolute best for ARTPOP era and what's the most important, she must be healthy.

Uhhhh, no.
That would be horrid, and I don't think I could legitimately support that kind of exploitation. And I know I'm not the only one who would feel this way.
