I was thinking the exact same thing
I was leaning towards gun but I knew I would write about suicide
Then I thought about flowers but I could only think of things about suicide or funerals
Then I thought about the ocean but I could only think of drowning
So I'm forcing myself to do trees because its the most alive thing there
