Billboard uses different airplay points and they both had the same airplay few days ago.
LMFAO will increase its digital lead over weekend and that will be enough for them to pass Katy. You want Katy to get #1? Wow sorry I really can't follow you nonstop and it's hard for me to keep up with you since you change your opinions as often as your faves.

It sold 85K last week not over 100k and it's only going down from here (obviously). If she performs RITD at the VMA's it will probably give it a nice boost. If she performs it at the Grammys then it will have 7x Platinum on lock. (Thinking way ahead I know)

Let us believe it will go #1.

Thank you
I bet most, if not all the Katy stans are secretly wishing it would go number 1, but all of them (except you) are insisting it won't, even when the receipts show it has a legitimate chance, more so than PRA

I gave up earlier this week, but now, not so much. I think Last Friday Night can do it. LMFAO's sales lead is definitly smaller than Katy's airplay lead.

Of course we want it to hit #1 but it's obvious it won't.

Maybe LMFAO will increase their lead...but it won't be by a lot, since they only have a couple of hours to rack up at LEAST a 5K lead, and they are only leading by a few hundred before today. And while billboard does use different airplay, it doesn't matter since PRA is obviously falling on Mediabase, it's more than likely falling on BDS as well. And Katy will more than likely remain stable, so the gap will increase, giving her a good shot at the number 1
I barely change my fav anymore, so I don't see your point

2. LMFAO - Party Rock Anthem: 140.392 (- 0.286)
Billboard's totals were:
Last Friday Night 146.9 (-0.5)
Party Rock Anthem 146.7 (+6.3)
The Mediabase AI totals right now:
1. KATY PERRY - Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.): 147.058 (+ 0.081)
2. LMFAO - Party Rock Anthem: 136.838 (- 0.292)
Using the same differences:
Last Friday Night 147.1 - 0.5 = 146.6
Party Rock Anthem 136.8 + 6.3 = 143.1
So Katy's AI lead is about 3.5 million with three more days to go. It should go up to about 5 million in those days. Which means LMFAO will have to sell 5K more. Personally I think Katy is the favorite right now to get the #1.
|
So you are saying Katy will be #1

I don't think we would be having this debate if LFN didn't have a chance. It's obviously closer than we think.

Before:
LFN 5327 + 1465 = 6792
PRA 6501 + 600 = 7101
-
Now:
LFN : 6782
PRA : 7247

So we can stop the charade of pretending it has no chance and just patiently watch.

I saw prediction. But I think today's sale will be enough for PRA to sell more than LFN 5k.
We're keeping it real and your ass calling us pretending? What are we supposed to do? Bragging about LFN will definitely hit #1? mess. Anyway I'm not surprised since you've been nothing but a troll in most thread

I still kind of feel like Katy is going to get the #1, though I certainly wouldn't mind if she was blocked (even if it's by that monstrosity).

Not bragging, just not pretending like LFN has no chance when it clearly does

I don't know now, but Katy could actually have that #01... but we won't know it until Wednesday.. that day a lot of people will either kill themselves or have the biggest party ever in the USA.

"Party Rock Anthem" and "Last Friday Night" are guilty pleasures of mines, so this is a battle to see. It's more interesting than the last few weeks.

I do feel like she will get the number 1 as well, but I swear I'ma throw a fit if she doesn't. I hated PRA since it debuted, and I still hate it, I just can't get into it, even after 300,000 listens. The more number 1s Katy gets, the better

Katy-cats, no need to start lashing out at people. Chill.
It's too close to tell what will happen. I haven't purchased PRA, but I want to. I doubt my one purchase would have any effect on the lead, whatever.
And <3 at Take Over Control by Afrojack still in the top 100.

Nope. My prediction is based on fact, not pretending like you assumed
1. Last week Billboard LFN was only ahead of PRA 0.2 mil, this week It will be about 1-3mil max.
2. Mon-Sat prediction shows PRA sold more and today percentage difference continues to increase. Weekend sales will be more than enough for PRA to outsell LFN by more than 5k.
3. PRA has more streaming.
4. PRA has Latin AI advantage.

For me it's a double-edged blade.
If PRA get's the number one, they will be spending their 7th week at number one
If LFN gets number one, I won't get to see meltdowns / she will be tying MJ's record / the remix chart manipulation will have werked again.
