All season long, the show has managed to stay campy while also moving the plot, and yet this episode it said "**** plot! **** development! **** it all! It's all one big joke!"

Exactly. It was campy, but it was funny and it made sense.

Now I can't even look back at The Pill scene thinking it's funny. Just RUINED everything for me. GOD!

Even that scene where Hester found Sam, which is probably the only clue that made sense now, saying "I came to see if Sam needed anything" isn't the same anymore. Even the good kind of camp got tarnished because of this garbage ending.

The answers they mostly written on for this episodes are questions asked just right this finale. It's honestly a big joke!

Some of y'all are digging too hard. It was a very suitable finale for this show. It's absolutely irreverent in the best way and it remained more consistent than most other shows this season. I wholly expect it to go to **** with the seasons to come, in classic Ryan fashion, but this has gone down as one of my favorite genre efforts on TV in years.

It let them have a happy ending and showed them as victorious in their own right. They didn't lose. The same way that the Chanels fighting the two frat bros in the cafeteria was a win for them according to the show.

I can't even name the WORST part of this finale, but one thing that comes to mind is that this means Grace ACTUALLY JUST IS obnoxiously boring.

The only reason they were happy is because of two reasons:
1. Heavy medications
2. They weren't being catty bitches anymore (primary reason)

Everything till then was designed to rip these girls apart for being evil, selfish bitches, and it ends with them being arrested for no reason other than how bad their personalities were. Some of this stuff finally sinks in and they stop acting that way (also, no motive to in said asylum).... thus their life stops sucking. It's still advocating against acting like Oberlin IRL

Considering this episode poked fun at radical feminists/lefties, I'm thinking that cafeteria scene was mocking everyone. Especially since the Chanels went back to Cottonballs and eating nothing.

I did the same damn thing . I was for sure thinking it was #5

I feel like I'm the only one who actually enjoyed the ending because I didn't get what I predicted at all, which is great

Right? It literally makes zero sense and I don't understand how nobody caught that before it aired. I thought he was talking to someone about Chad or something? I don't really understand. It was like written just last Sunday while they were like looking at the tvbythenumbers website and was, **** IT. The whole thing doesn't seem like the RD was planned since the beginning like it was supposed to. Even messier than the PLL reveal and they chose the villain during the 3rd freaking season.

Who actually believes Chanel found happiness in an asylum? How could she just go from that epic rant scene to THAT?

Ok I suppose, it's some kind of character growth after seeing that she didn't change at all during the court scene. But even that was written badly. It happened all so fast, jumping to 2016, without any reasoning. Why would Ryan do her like that? People were living for Chanel the most!

No one looked at Hester's records? The judge just went on believing what Hester said?

I know the show doesn't make sense since the start but, this is a new level of INSANE! The finale is a damn CLOWN making the past episodes look like it had sense. Emma was right the finale made the past episodes not crazy at all. And I take it that she meant it in a bad way. It felt like a different show!

May I just say, Number 5 having the worst ending of all.
No growth, redemption, meaning, whatsoever aside her cute moment with Chanel.
But her family... Just for the sake of Hester being full on mental, like, what did she ever do to deserve that?

Oh, and about plot twists? No one will ever say we didn't see it coming so stop. Everyone was thinking at some point that Hester was faking her scoliosis. So she can drop this I'm being bullied I need revenge act. Hester's sob story wasn't even a sob story to me. All that storyline from the past few episodes FOR NOTHING. The flashbacks -If you even call it that as I could have just watched the finale and not care for the past episodes- were USELESS. I can't believe the final episode kept dragging with Hester blaming the Chanel's. It felt like I was being pranked. This WAS NOT THE FINALEUWEDASHFI

How did the RD know that Pete was digging in the dean's office, and why not kill him then when they were

How did Hester know to turn the fryer on?

How did anyone else know where Mandy lived or even that Pete and Grace had gone to see her?

Why did no one submit any of the Chanels, especially #5, to a goddamn DNA test?

Who even killed Gigi if Hester only claimed to have killed Pete and turned the flyer on and he only killed Dodger and Boone?

Why bother serving the head on the table at all?

Why draw more attention to it?

Hester was alone with Chanel on at least a few occasions, including in her closet during the makeover, and presumably when they came back from the Radwells' together (that was implied, right?). So why not kill her at either of those times?

How did Hester get into Pete's room without him noticing, and when did she get in, like how long had she been there? Wasn't she out shopping the scene prior?

He had been packing to go home, right? So wouldn't he have been looking in the wardrobe while he was packing clothes at some point before the RD jumped out and stabbed him? I don't see how he can on the one hand be emptying his room to leave campus but also completely unaware.

If this is all revenge for Bathtub Night, why not actually kill the dean, Wes or Grace, the ones with the most concrete ties to Bathtub Night? Why kill people who had nothing to do with it?
