An r&b/pop and hip hop album meshes better than 1/2 dance, 1/2 hip hop album. If that's her album, look for the girls to say Azeelia's album is more cohesive.

I don't know...the production on her albums always come of as cheap, like they need to be remastered a couple of more times to finally sound like a real record.

Actually, a bunch of songs on the album sound just like attempted recreations of Your Love, Right Thru Me, and Moment 4 Life. Now that I think about it, it sounds like a bootleg combination of Pink Friday and The Re-Up.

I just can't shake the fact how good a rapper Nicki is but how middling her albums are. Ugh.
Nicki Minaj and Lady Gaga have the exact same problem. Objectively speaking, they are talented people, but both Minaj and Gaga's "art" is absolutely terrible. They couldn't put out good albums if their life depended on it. Just because you have the talent, doesn't mean you know how to harness it. That's why artists like Azealia Banks are on a completely different level mentally and artistically, and it shows in the final product, whether you like to admit it or not. Some artists can harness their talent on their own, like Kanye West, and some artists need a stellar team to harness their talent, like Britney Spears.
Nicki really has nothing interesting to talk about nor any artistic vision to drive an entire album of her own to greatness. This is why she is most easily enjoyed as a 30 second feature on someone else's song.
She's a feature posing as a main attraction. That's why her albums suck and half of this one has other artists on it.
I think w/ Nicki since her signature is spazzing out on tracks and eccentric delivery, because male rappers are so by-the-numbers and predictable in content, she ignites a song and gets our ear when is the feature. She just says/screams? crazy things in songs and is eccentric in a way men aren't.
If Anaconda was by 2 Chainz or Wayne, and Nicki was the ft. with that verse and that laugh it would just seem way more amusing than it is as a solo w/ just her.
