Honestly, I'm not a big fan of the album, no But I get where you're coming from where she's just mixing it up for the fans.

I just truly hope she was just having fun for this album and she's not taking this era as seriously as I think she is, and go back on that Kanye mindset for the third one

IAYL is a solid 9.5/10 for me. It's not perfect, but it's pretty damn close.

what about a all hip hop album w/ super bass / whip it type songs and with cuts like save me. thats pop, hip hop, and rnb ? so she has never completely boxed herself in...EVER

I'm one of the people who want an all hip-hop 3rd album. Well atleast 3/4 hip-hop. I feel like all credibility that Nicki has worked so hard for in hip-hop has rapidly vanished. She's a joke now in the hip-hop industry. I think it would be best for Nicki to really prove to hip-hop that she is a rapper, and she is an extremely talented one. I'll admit that I'm going through a bit of a stan crisis with Nicki. The dance-pop songs and her imagery have slowly been eating away at me since the album snippets, and I just want "dear old Nicki" back. Or at least the original Pink Friday Nicki. She acts like too much like a "pop girl" for my liking now.

But I love that she can just casually switch it up from hip hop to pop to dance to R&B, etc.

She was Billboard's Rising Star of 2011, so she should perform. She'll have to travel from Australia to USA to Japan, as she's on tour, but she has time.

I agree with a lot of what Division posts, but I still stand by the statement that she shouldn't limit herself by coming out and saying "I am a popstar, I sing pop music" because it will turn off a lot of her hip-hop fans. She has no need to label herself as anything.
