While on the topic of updates, I thought of a new feature, I think, while scrolling my wall.

At the moment, the friends list is pretty much irrelevant, there's no real reason to add anyone aside from lifting wall privacy. So it would be refreshing to have a timeline or feed, where you can see your friends' status updates. That would give friends lists a more social purpose.

Those race threads on ATRL are getting out of hand. Really. Each of them ends up with giving somebody a slating and multiple personal insults. While issues like eg. racism or sexism are very important, then this is still a music forum and there is like 324234234 other places much more suitable to discuss such topics. And I'm saying this as a feminist myself.

And yet The Lounge, Blogs, and countless film and video game franchise threads exist. ATRL is so much more than a music forum.

We're not going to stop talking about race just because you can't handle your fave getting called out for being a bigot. Don't enter those threads and engage if it's that big of a problem for you. It's rather simple.

in the atrl guidelines the communications with staff section seems to only be one-way & it's not clear whether the same rules that apply to everyone else apply to the moderators
