I think both of my teammates will attest to the fact that I worked really, really,
really hard on that trinity. It's true that I never quite rose to the dizzying heights of the Golden Trinity, so fair enough, but I believe my average score prior to this round nullifies the notion that I was merely floating around the middle ― being top five despite never making it into the top three is pretty great. But oh well; I hold no grudge.
At least I was finally able to impress Katie... I'm really happy about that! Collin, you are the perfect host and the judges have been fabulous. I've had fun with this. I don't know if anyone's noticed, but I decided early on that I'd never use an artist twice, so naturally there are a bunch of musicians who I really love that I'd been saving for future rounds, and I'm just sad that I won't be able to use them after all.
But whatevs.
I'm so sad, you were admittedly one of my favorites. I always looked forward to see what you had to say each round. I hope you've enjoyed your time in this game because I surely have enjoyed your presence... a modest and grade A Games Section debut, if I do say so myself.
I really wish you could've stayed longer, too. But this game is unpredictable!
