I've finnished watching Detention.... it's one of the weirdest films I've seen this year tbh... It's actually a comedy with a lil bit of horror thrown in... it started off quite good (I loved the way they did the credits... you'll understand if you watch it)... it got a bit confusing towards the end though

it's one of the best movies in this category for me,and it was funny as hell,it's on youtube

I love this film... I've seen it like 3 times already.... and I own it on DVD
Well, it's not very good as expected, but it ain't that bad though. It's like a horror/action movie. It has a little twist, so it was not predictable at all. I approve South Africa's horror.

Just finnished watching The Chernobyl Diaries... wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be. Overall I'd give it 4/10 In some ways it kinda reminded me of The Divide... only The Divide was better imo... there wasn't much horror to it and overall it just seemed slightly pointless

thats pretty much what I thought of it as well... nowhere near as good as I thought it was going to be, although it isn't the worst film I've ever seen.
Just finnished watching Silent House... it was SO much better than The Chernobyl Diaries. I'd say the level of tension built was that on the same level of The Strangers... I actually really enjoyed Silent House although I kinda predicted the twist about 2/3rd's into the film... I would recommend you guys watch it 6.5/10

I agree. I was expecting something bigger. The tension was growing and then nothing. The ending was a little bit WTF.

you should... it's really good. It's like the strangers in terms of how much tension is built up. But I don't believe it was filmed in one take.... There were moments in the film where you could potentially stop filming and carry on after a break... but I'd say it was filmed in 3-5 takes in total

I didn't get round to watching The Woman In Black yesterday so todays films are:
I'm not exepcting much from Playback (it only has a 4/10 rating on IMDB)... not so much from REC 3 either tbh seen as they have changed the style of how it's shot and it's in a different location (however I did enjoy Quarantine 2 and that was at a different location)... but reviews will be up as I finish them... first up is The Woman In Black
Too much tension to handle. It's very good - kinda slow though. I'm going to end this now.
