TV Show: Real Housewives of Atlanta: Season 7

My problem with this season, is that for 99% of it, it was all divided and they all did scenes in little cliques, and then every 5/6 episodes, would have a big gathering to discuss the gossip about each other and argue. Everything felt so calculated. I feel it's because when outside of the show, these women don't really know each other. They only know each other because of the show, whereas before, y'all had Nene, Kim, Sheree etc, who all been knowing each other for 10 years and run in the same circles. So even if they didn't like each other, they'd all bump into it each anyway and it felt authentic.
I'll compare it to this season of RHONY, Dorinda came in, and the fact she knew nearly all the girls, runs in their circles etc, it made it so much easier for her to fit in and have it feel natural to a viewer that she's at lunch with them, at parties with them, and less "Oh, you need to be at this party for a scene because you're a cast member on this show." I want it to feel like they're all connected in some way shape or form, and not just in the same room because they're getting a cheque to tell them to.
I don't know if I made myself clear enough, but it's just a little ugh cause I used to love this franchise but honestly this Season has been the PITS.

Cynthia couldn't scalp if she tried, she just has Claudia vying for attention so she's jumping in and Kenya s******ing at whatever she can. I don't think many people would be sad, bar a few members on here if Kenyas whole couch were to go...maybe keep Kandi...that said this has been her worst season in terms of public reception.
Edit: as if you can't write write s******ing! It bloody means laughing eesh, this is worse than censoring the world *****.

Kenya makes good TV so I wouldn't necessarily boot her. Claudia and Cynthia need to go though. Or at least demote Cynthia and have Porsha steal her peach

She makes good TV but not good housewives TV. The show needs to return to its season 1-4 routes. Based in Atlanta, local women, less "ratchetness". I've said before about Kenya's see through tears such as when she pretended to cry over Phaedra allegedly cheating, crying over her imaginary african prince, its just not authentic. I found Claudia to be the same when she cried after Puerto Rico very fake and Kenya-esque, let alone her literally following people for arguments and airtime, the show has got too fake, they need women with real connections to each other, not some out of town failed actress's only interested in creating a scene.

Porsha did try to come for Cynthia and Cynthia did effortlessly scalp her with Kenya giggling in the background.
I'm not mad at that Cynthia is looking stronger this reunion.
Why does the clips seem so empty and quiet overall like all of the ladies are over this reunion and/or show and are just showing up?

Porsha is most definitely getting a peach. She's becoming very popular on social media and gets tons of press from having her other TV gig and doing magazines. Whether or not they keep Cynthia is another thing. I'm almost certain Claudia is staying though. She's young and fun so it adds something.

Wait these reunion previews are JUICY! Kandi name dropping Queen Kim  I know she and Kim are on bad terms, do you know if the rest of the girls don't like Kim? Kim mentioned on WWHL that Cynthia and her are friendly and have no issues with each other, but I wonder how her relationship is with Phaedra.

I'm not sure if porsha will be staying. She still has zero personal storyline and if producers were planning to bring her back she would have had a seat at the reunion the whole time like they did with Luann on NYC last season.

They're including her in all the promo, she's also in the line up on the official Bravo reunion bingo card and she has several squares on it, and Andy filmed a one-on-one sit down with her. She brings in a lot of younger watchers because her IG is really popular.

It was a lie. Kenya's dress was custom made by Linda Stokes. And even if was $40? What's the issue? Kenya would be winning either way being that she looked the best out of everyone and had on the cheapest dress.
It's not about how much the dress cost it's how you wear the dress

Porsche is cute . I'm not going to lie I kinda did miss her as a housewife, but to me she always seemed a little out of place with the other girls . Idk I think maybe because she is so much younger and didn't really have anything going for herself .

I think with Carlos being out of the equation next season, we will see a alot of things change. We will see a different dynamic and everything wont be about shade and also, new intros (which we havent gotten in forever).
Claudia may be out. A lot of people dont know that Bravo takes social media feedback into consideration. With the amount of people expressing how much they hate Claudia and asking for a new cast, we are bound to see some type of change. The thing is, people see through the fakeness that some of these girls show. They can tell that Claudia is thirsty over Porsha and Nene and want her off because at the end of the day, the Housewives brand isnt about shade. They want to see actual wealthy HOUSEWIVES in Atlanta and how they interact with FAMILY and a GROUP OF GIRLS, and Kenya and Claudia don't have family and are in Atlanta just to film a show,.

One of my BIGGEST problems.
I remember Jill Zarin's one-on-one, and the thing that stuck in my mind the most when speaking about the changes in Real Housewives is the fact that they don't show their lives any more, it' more focused on them fighting and wanting to shade each other. She says when people see her in the street, they ask how her Daughter is, how her wee Mother and Sister are, how Bobby is. It made me think about it all. RH used to be about showing their lives, and arguing was just a part of it, but it wasn't as sensationalized as it is now.

Good points sis. I think RHONJ does the best job of keeping it about the families and lives vs the fighting.

I love Porsha and want her back on the show but I completely agree, I've never seen her place on the show. Nene had Cynthia, Kandi and Phaedra had eachother, and Kenya was a big enough personality to generally fit in with whoever, but I never particularly saw a connection with Porsha and the other women. That said she replaced Kim who also seemed like she had little desire to be around the other women 90% of the time too.
