most of my family still lives there (Medellin) and they love the queen too so
I don't live there but on the internet most people who hate her are colombians. They usually say things like "she's a sold out" "juanes is better than her"
Ugh I remember being so pissed that half of that album was just covers of El Cata songs I love the original songs but I've always had mixed feelings about this album.

I remember reading a Colombian article that I translated in English a long while ago which said that she bleached her skin to blend into the American culture. What on earth? She's white, there's nothing "Native American" about her unlike other Latinos. Her mother is half Italian/ half Spanish and her father is half Lebanese/ half Macedonian. People can be silly sometimes.

Yeah I hate those comments. Some people are just delusional about it, I can understand the typical hater pressed about her success but they hate her for the dumbest reasons.
