A very interesting interview with a Dutch Russian on Dutch TV

He says a lot of a Russians are convinced the West is doing the most to discredit Russia and the wildest conspiracy theories are going round there. They think the whole world is against them due to the propaganda etc.

Nothing I didn't already suspect but this is coming from someone that lives in Russia, so there must be some truth in it

I legitimately cannot understand why anyone would immediately jump to conspiracy theories like this. This just sounds ridiculous. MH-370 couldn't even have made it to there in the first place. If MH-370 would have crashed there people would have noticed. It's not some barren wasteland, there are farms everywhere. This couldn't have happened months ago.

Besides, just because there are lots of unanswered questions (because that's all I see there), doesn't mean it must be a false story. It just means you don't know the whole story. If I'd take the time then I'd be able to come up with tons of reasons why this story doesn't stick either.
