Some people will never admit it but many have now accepted the inevitable conclusion that it's simply a phenomenon.
41 weeks at No 1 globally............I know it's only an unofficial global chart but seriously....to be heading back to the top spot again more than 16 months after release, after so long there already - it's just amazing. And I would bet it will stay there again next week, since it's probably going to hit No 1 in the US (the largest music market) again this week.
21 has sold over 1m copies in 5 countries so far (US, UK, Canada, France, Germany) and I think is pretty close in Australia. There are only a handful of albums in history which have topped 1m sales in so many countries and Norah Jones certainly doesn't have one of them.
