200 million?!?! I thought those who predicted it would cross 200 million on its opening weekend were crazy, retarded people. I thought 150 million was already phenomenal. Oh wow. They proved me wrong. Deadline even thinks that the 200 Million opening maybe a little conservative. Dead. The movie slayed everyone.
I knew that it would break the Potter record, especially when word got out about how GOOD the movie is. Maybe not $200m, but it's not surprising, given that this is the biggest wet dream comic book fanboy movie ever, AND it's bringing in non-fanboys as well.
It'll be fun to see if TDKR can seriously challenge this. I can't see it without 3D, but it'll be fun to see TDKR try.
