I agree about the countdown. Now that it's at the 10 day mark, Hilary should post something on Instagram/twitter each day!
I Don't want to hear any snippets before the whole album comes out, it would spoil it for me. I'm just so excited now, I cannot believe we almost have new music!

I'm so excited she's about to snatch Jackie's wig for lowest first week number

the first week sales are going to be a mess but we already know that. I just hope she sells more than 20K ( or 6K aka Nelly's album the sprit indestructible first week sales)

Since she doesn't care about selling so tragic, I honestly don't care at all, I just want the album I'm so thirsty for new music, I know this will be her best album, even better than Dignity.
The only worry I have for the tragic sales is that RCA drops her or this being her last album.

Glad the album will finally be in our hands in a little over a week.
I am however extremely disappointed that this era has been a continuous trainwreck.
Part of me feels like she's upset for whatever reason. Maybe it's due to the fact the direction of the album had to be changed(?)...something just seems VERY off. The award show appearances she did a few years back and Ariana award presentation gave me hope, as well as signing to RCA, everything just seemed to fall in place for her, but everything just got done stupidly. All this month, she could have done SOME promo leading up to the release date, but I'll be surprised if she actually fulfills the promo slots announced in the press release.
I know we all vent here, and people complain the people complaining, but it's all said with the utmost amount of love. It's just heartbreaking that, after 8 years...all we've gotten is breadcrumbs.
Regardless, I've got the day off from work for the release date. I'm excited to listen to the album...even if it's lucky to sell 8k copies, and will most likely be her last music release.

Why y'all just enjoy the music? I love "Sparks" but I loved the folk-pop sound of "Chasing the Sun" and "All About You", I wonder if "Tattoo" will sound like that...

she would never. I hope the numbers don't offend her but in retrospect she did little to no promo so what does she expect? Awkward because Chasing The Sun got alot of buzz.

now if only Duffers can do a HUGE lashing on Twitter like the Harmonizers....
that iconic Q&A of 5H really made their entire management step up their game - from social media to styling

I think she does care about sales though and thinks loads of people are going to buy the album. I just hope it manages to reach 100k US sales when all is said and done.

I'm really hoping for a miracle, and maybe people randomly swarm to the stores and buy the album out of nostalgia...I dunno. Like, all the closeted Duff fans(who bought Metamorphosis) go out and get this.

I honestly don't know what to predict, Dignity had a 61, so maybe around that, what do you think?

I feel like critics were harsher back then.

I think it might be able to get in the late 60's - 70's tbh. "Sparks" got pretty good reviews.

Never forget when Slant gave her self-titled album like one star and opened with admitting how much they hated her.
The good thing is a lot of the older critics have moved on out/retired and the younger generation grew up with Hil's music. Hopefully for somewhere in the range of 60 - 66.
I really want her to continue her streak of good reviews since AAY dropped. The two singles and Younger have gotten her some cred.
