Ledgendary Lovers isn't a great choice if they're looking for a hit, it seems way too polarising - people either love it or despise it, much like they did with Birthday and This Is How We Do. Walking on Air seems much more generally positive leaning.
Whatever, it's not like anyone can claim it's the first mistake made this era. Legendary Lovers was the most streamed song after the leak though and the public haven't had a year of listening to it to grow weary like I have so I wont be surprised if it is a hit.

Tho usually when the lead single is the first song on the cd, that carries over to the #2 song and that's why it's the most streamed.
That being said, I hope it's the single.

It could go good either way. WOA would be a radio smash which could help it a lot, I mean radio DJs would play it immediately & hasn't one at KIIS FM said he wanted it instead of TIHWD? Sales might not be that great tho, but I see a Top 10 for it. Maybe higher, if she played her cards right. She could make some controversial video, like a church scene, doing sexy things. It'd get a decent amount of streams, no? So it has that under its belt as potential. The only thing is, it is just a dance song and nothing different, so it could get overlooked. Legendary Lovers is also a potential radio smash, but radio might not support it unless it starts to build up success. Legendary Lovers seems like the kind of song that could pull a Dark Horse because it is different from her past 2 singles, kind of like E.T. was different from the first 3 TD singles. Which means it could smash if handled right. I could HONESTLY see Legendary Lovers peaking at #1 if released, but only for a week or so, and staying in the top 10 f0r 12-15 weeks. Walking On Air I see a #3 peak with a #1 on radio, with slightly more longevity. But if I really went with what realistically would happen, LL could peak at #3, WOA #3-5. But that is only if they play their cards right, which who knows if they will do that based on the last few singles. Oh and also she will need maybe a performance on like, the EMAs and the AMAs.
