ARTPOP kinda has some trance-y elements, I guess. Sex Dreams is moombahcore, which is also EDM. EDM is a REALLY wide genre.

Gaga needs to release songs like "Just Dance", "LoveGame", and "Bad Romance" if she wants to be the biggest popstar on Earth once again. She sadly can't release songs about wanting applause, religion, or LGBT anthems and expect to appeal to the GP very well. Songs about partying, love, sex, self-empowerment are what the GP eats up. That's why I think "Sex Dreams" would do great.

I realize that she loves us, but I don't want a ballad. They're nice, but they don't fit in with ARTPOP as a whole. What ever happened to "ARTPOP is gonna be able to played at a club straight through"? What ever happened to it being revolutionary with a new sound? What ever happened to it being an EDM album with Gaga's signature sound? My guess is that DJWS jumped back on the train and produced more than he should've at the last minute. I wanted ONLY Zedd and Madeon because I knew that all of their songs would sound new. And even though what we've gotten has been new, it still sounds like BTW. BTW is her best album, but I want something new. It's time to move along from DJWS.

But pretty much everything at Swinefest was straight EDM, sans IWBWY and MANiCURE (which was rockier, will have a diff. studio version).

All the songs we've heard from ARTPOP besides the ballad are EDM. EDM has many different genres in it.

Ya'll do the worst on DJWS. The guy is talented DJ, he's bringing a new sound to Gaga. The Applause instrumental SLAYS. If you dislike the song, it's because of Gaga's melody. That's what makes it so pop sounding. But isn't that Gaga's signature sound, over legitimate EDM? Don't complain when you get exactly what you want.

Nobody would assume that song is about her fans, it could be very successful on radio if its produced a bit more like TEOG. Wouldn't be surprised if it's a deluxe edition song, though.
