It came from the 'Madonna S.E.X. playlist' post. It made me remember how much I like the song Easy Ride, and brought me back to the flawless performance of Mother and Father on the Re-Invention Tour.
I saw 'Music' (album) in my record store and instantly grabbed it. I'm now listening to the album for the first time (on vinyl) and it's an experience. I can't believe I've been missing out on this album.
Gotta get the Japanese/International for American Pie and Cyber-Raga tho.
The Mother and Father performance is amazing. The hand holding the bleeding heart for Rebel Heart always reminded me of the backdrop. The Intervention bridge was amazing but it deserved a performance of it's own.
As a young male who's been working out intensively for the last 6 years I can guarantee you that having that level of muscle definition is not easy by any means
If you think she's a female and was already on the verge of turning 43 back then, it's even more impressive and jaw-dropping
Her dedication to her body is out of this world amazing
I'm actually enjoying Bedtime Stories, it's still not amazing though. It's cute. I should stop trashing it so much, I guess.

I totally agree. One of her best ballads. I'm glad that (basically up until Rebel Heart) all her ballads have a unique twist, none of them are too 'vanilla'. I guess maybe Promise to Try, but even then it's hardly Someone Like You. It's about the death of her mother.
Easy Ride would have been nice to hear sometime this era if she did more gigs/intimate performances tbh.
Although I much rather prefer the "Rebel" songs, I love almost all the Rebel Hearts ballads.
My least favorite is HBC and Messiah/WAOM my absolute fave ones!
