So you're saying that Ryan somehow new weeks in advance that the show would be cancelled so he wrote and shot an alternative finale that was purposefully terrible? If he knew this would be the only season of the show, why would he sabotage the ending and make it look like it had a reason to be cancelled? Wouldn't he go out with a bang so people would be begging for it to come back?

We're upset cuz it was a **** ending, but it was an INTENTIONAL **** ending because Ryan was probably told FOX isn't going for a season 2.
That's the end to the series.
Ryan TOLD us he shot different endings, and I have no doubt in my mind that at least one of those alternatives is a GOOD ending that PROPERLY explains everything AND kills off all but those 4-5 survivors.
Ryan has the GOOD, QUALITY ending stored away because he knows the show isn't getting a second season, so he was forced to air this mess to wrap everything up for GOOD, and took the opportunity to have that tragic-ass jump-scare at the very end.
Let's pray we get the good ending on DVD.

I wish this is the case but this is just wishful thinking let's all accept that Ryan is just beyond stupid and reckless at this point. All that opportunities for growth, closure and happy ending for nothing. I can see season 2 being all about the Chanel's revenge. But honestly, I don't care for a renewal right now. He RUINED this.

What even is your point? He aired a finale on NATIONAL TELEVISION and we AS THE VIEWERS are talking about how we felt about it. What we "wanted" was a good finale, and clearly since everyone hated it that is NOT what was delivered.
