My good sis all Im saying is we shouldnt make any assumptions based on color of their skin/where their ancestors from. People should be judged based on their actions, not the actions of the people with the same skin color, that would be a tad ridiculous
But that's the thing. The fact that you can even say people should be judged be based only on their actions shows how privileged you are as a white person. The reality is that that people are color are judged every day on our skin color. And before you say anything reverse racism isn't a thing so don't even try it. White people as a whole benefit from a system that from the moment they are conceived no matter where they go in the world they will be seen as superior. It doesn't matter if you personally participate in the racism, as a white person you still benefit from it. All white people participate and are a part of white supremacy. By making statements that imply we all bleed red, all people shouldn't be judged blah blah blah you are erasing the very real injustices poc encounter and ignoring the problem of race. The Taylor Swift base isn't the appropriate place to discuss this so if you have a reply please send it to my inbox where we can continue this conversation if you have any further questions.

I do agree its not a place to discuss but ill just say I definitely agree that there is a "white privilege" and there is a sort of internalized racism in a lot of people, especially the older generation and agree that both these things shouldn't be encouraged let alone practiced. I just personally just dont understand why people give a **** where someone came from/their skin color but, yeah, it wasnt me trying to avoid or ignore it.
