Cause the regular price is too expensive. I though 99c was too expensive, but then iTunes increased the price further to 1.29..
It's way too much.

69c is more or less ok. That's what everyone should charge MAX.

But in all the honestly, individual songs should not be priced more than 50c.

I agree with Kworb in that alll songs should generally by cheaper. I mean, honestly, I cannot tell you how easily I purchased a ton of songs on Amazon MP3 when they were 49 cents. It's a lot easier for an individual to buy a song if it's priced lower. I mean, that's a fundamental economic principle that needs to be understood by the industry.

There are already a lot of algorithms in place to prevent "false" updates from going through. I don't think it will ever be enough. I can't make the algorithms too strict, cause then it might start ignoring the real updates.
