I don't think that's true. Death doesn't always have to be sad. I think it's a celebration of life and death.
I don't get that happy feeling when I listen to it. It's too deep to be like that. It's not as sad as Speechless where you can feel it immediately and you almost feel depressed after a listen - TEOG is more subtile. It can be interpreted as the listener wants I guess. No wonder she cries when she finished to perform it.
