Why are you going so low with House Party? It's in the Top 20 in Airplay and Digital Downloads, and is the first Country song to rank consistently within the Top 40 on Spotify all year and have solid streaming. I know it's not selling 80k-120k, but hardly anyone else is right now either.
Like you I do wish the Pop Quadrant would give House Party a chance, but as I said it wouldn't surprise me for Hunt's label to release Break Up In A Small Town to multiple formats at the same time.
This includes Country (original version), all four genres of the Pop Quadrant (remove the steel guitar for Top 40 and and possibly even get a rapper, which wouldn't sound out of place on Rhythmic), and even Active/Alternative Rock if he goes with a Hard Rock version like he performed on Fallon.
I know Shania Twain would occasionally release song A at Country, then release a song B to Country and the Pop Quadrant simultaneously, then come back to song A to cross it over (Man, I Feel Like A Woman did this because she had released You Got A Way from Notting Hill).
