This whole case is actually terrifying. It seems a lot of people just see the headline "White cop kills unarmed black teenager" and are ready with their pitchforks, prepared to riot, start a war on the police force and white people. I don't see how Brown is the innocent young life that headlines are portraying him to be. Robbing a store, and getting into a physical altercation with a cop, proceeding to attempt to TAKE the officer's gun? Come on now, if anyone does this regardless of skin colour, you're gonna have a bad time. Treyvon Martin is a case of an innocent life being taken unfairly, that deserves this outcry, Brown's is not.
Also, Brown had like 90lbs on Wilson. "He should have used his spray or baton!" Really?! It's very possible neither of those would incapacitate Brown, and Wilson would be done for. I understand the ideal image that cops should never kill anyone, but to expect them to not have any regard for their own safety is absolute garbage. If Wilson never fired those shots, it's very possible he could have been killed. Just because Brown is unarmed, doesn't mean he never endangered the life of Wilson.
Regardless of what version of events is more accurate, the case is a damn mess on both sides. It never would have gotten anywhere in trial either.

Plus I scored higher than 90% of test takers on all sections of the SAT, I'm attending a four-year uni for FREE, and I'm gonna have my Master's by the age of 22.
But you're right, I'm completely lacking logic.

Idk what video you saw but the video that everyone else saw shows clearly how Mike walks into the store, reaches over and takes the entire box of cigars with the store owner chasing after him, when Mike starts making intimidating gestures towards him as if saying "back away". Does that seem like he paid for it? No.
Mike was NOT running away, and this has already been proven because all six gunshot wounds were on the front of his body, unless by some miracle the bullets went around his body, he was running TOWARDS the officer. The autopsy has ALSO proven that the he was shot at a close proximity because of material from the bullets that could have ONLY been there by being fired from a close proximity.
You tell that poster to educate himself when you don't even know the facts

FYI - Michael Brown was under the influence of marijuana. His hands were NOT in the air. The bullet wound to the head indicates he was either falling forward or lunging forward. Blood was found on the officer AND in his police car.

A lot of people are missing the big picture. Mike Brown was in the wrong, yes. But the big picture is about how black males as a whole are persecuted much more than anyone else in the USA. It's been 20 years since Rodney King and not much has changed. That's why all these protests nationwide happen. Some of you aren't even black, so you really don't know what it is like to live with this monkey on your back.
Michael Strahan isn't on with Kelly every morning for no reason. It's about softening this exaggerated depiction of black males. It's not even just in the USA. Being the top nation, of course what ever the USA portrays is seen worldwide. People immigrate to the USA with that notion of black people.
Looters in Ferguson more or less confirm the stereotype, but a black male is subjected to this mess way before they even come of age. Tamir Rice was just 12, but was shot dead. All police heard was "black male" with what looks like a gun. Same thing with Trayvon Martin being unfairly stalked by Zimmerman.
A CNN documentary by Soledad O'Brien, "Black In America: Black and Blue," is a good way for all you critics to see how innocent young black people feel about being targeted by police 100+ times before they even reach the age of 18. Furthermore, in a previous post I showed you even ACCOMPLISHED black males who DO NOT DISOBEY THE LAW in this nation are still more likely to be targeted because they are black.
Mariah Carey told a story of how when she was little, her teacher laughed at her for coloring her father with a brown crayon. Then she brings her 'friend' to her home and the minute her 'friend' sees that her dad has brown skin, the 'friend' breaks down in tears? Why? Are kids across the nation just conditioned by their parents from birth to stereotype black males in this way?

FYI - Another very informative read. The amount of black on black crime is astounding, but never brought to spotlight. The main issue is NOT racism, it's CRIME. But like the police chief mentioned in the article above, race baiters will much rather focus on race rather than the real problem: CRIME.

Bringing up black on black crime with disproportionate stats doesn't deflect the issues at hand FYI.
Also, using that as a counterargument makes you look suspect as hell.
This case which the topic is about is not black on black crime so save it.

Crime is a problem, but what do you expect? Poverty in a wealthy nation breeds crime. It wasn't that long ago since the USA denied us the right to vote, run for office, access to quality education, have any way of attaining wealth. Race IS an issue as it plays a role in why the this nation's crime exists in the first place. After slavery, black people more or less were thrown to the wolves. We built this nations' economy, but got NOTHING to show for it. The reason people assume being white (in the USA) makes you privileged is because the system was still built without other races in consideration. The system was literally built to KEEP black people impoverished.
And again, poverty in a wealthy nation breeds crime. It wasn't THAT long since segregation. I have plenty of relatives who lived through it. I had a teacher who recalls being spit in the face by a white girl. My mom talks about how apprehensive white teachers were to black students and how they often expected black students to go into blue collar work. These problems don't disappear overnight, especially when you literally have people out there who dislike Obama just because of the color of his skin (please don't try to deny it or dismiss it as "race-baiting"). And ConservativeTribune? Most of them probably aren't black and therefore aren't/haven't been subject to being vilified, and really have no place disputing the reality. Not even this would happen to them.

I don't understand how minorities like East Asians, Jews, and Indians are able to move forward and Blacks, Hispanics, and Natives can't. They need to change their culture aNd stop w the ghetto, thug mentality that have gotten these ppl nowhere. Take the power and stop playing the victim!! I would feel more sympathy for Brown if he was an innocent young man studying for his test and got shot by a policeman out of nowhere. No, he was a guy who assaulted a shop owner and then decided to assault a cop. And then some want to paint Mike as victim? Take responsibility like seriously.

Yes unfurtunately I agree with what you said. And I am Latino born in the USA and I see so many Latinos/Hispanics acting like thugs and then playing the victim and using the race card. Like please now… I have seen so many people in poverty in South America and I see no thugsness and ratchness as much as I see it here.

I honestly feel sorry for Darren Wilson because he did absolutely nothing wrong. He reacted out of fear and even though he reacted the wrong way, I think a lot of other normal human beings would have done the same thing being scared shitless of their lives. You guys love playing the race card for every little damn thing and then wonder why people don't take you seriously or sympathize with you guys. If mike brown was white, latino or asian he would have gotten the same treatment no doubt about it.

It depends. Asians are highly discriminated in the fashion, model and medical world especially in cities like nyc, los angeles, and chicago. East asians are seen as "ugly" in the fashion world or even hollywood in general which is why you barely see asian models and ever notice how east asian news reporters are only during late nights or early early mornings where no one is watching whereas attractive white women and latinas are favored in the media. Hispanics come in many different shades too so of course Latinas with light skin like sofia vergara, jennifer lopez or alexis bledel are favored over dark ones like zoe saldana and lala anthony or even latinas that look asian.
