I'm a foreigner and I've been interested in U.S primaries for some months, but I would like some of you (fans or to enlighten me about Hillary Clinton, be it fans or haters. It's probably the candidate I like the most, but does she really changes her mind as much as people claim her to (like, on all the subjects discussed in this video https://youtu.be/-dY77j6uBHI )
I know it may have been discussed a lot of times on here, but I just wanted to have better answers than "ugh, she's a sociopath", "she's the establishment, we don't trust them". Thank you.

ALL politicians change on issues. Even Bernie Sanders does. The only difference between Hillary or any other politician, is she's attacked for it a lot more for it at the moment.

She's has fought for the same basic principles all her life, but of course the media scrutiny has damaged her a little bit because she has literally been at the forefront of leadership 1992 (really before that)
She has changed her views and support of certain bills and legislations, but I can't blame her for something that seemed good at the time in the 90s, early 2000s and that was under her husband's administration. Of course she would support his actions, and even if it was her plan, he was president and had the final say. She's a woman and a threat to many people. She's the most qualified, and now her views are aligned with the Democratic Party of today. If you think she took too long, then that's a personal issue that every single voter has to determine for themselves. Oh and every other candidate (Dem & Rep) have changed their positions on things. Even the Bernster.

I thought the appeal of Ted Cruz was that he is remarkably consistent

Her views have evolved, just like any politician or person, really. A 2016 'progressive' would be considered a radical socialist in the 1990's. For example, she wasn't in favour of same-marriage in '08, but she's always supported LGBT rights AND lets be honest, in '08 the majority of Americans were opposed to it. She's changed as the times have changed, its impossible for politicians to remain on the same stance for their entire lives. What matters is that she's always been liberal and progressive, and has always advocated for youth, women and the marginalised members of society.

That video has been posted here several times. Many of her statements make sense when given context. She did change her stance on gay marriage, though has been consistently for LGBT rights other than marriage.

She's not Trump, going around spewing xenophobia. She's not Nixon and has not been proven to have done a damn thing wrong. She's not Ann Coulter. Her character and any voter's perception of it have very little to do with anything, quite frankly.
Anyway, having said that, I have faith she'll handily win the general against any of the three remaining Republicans that still matter. The youth vote would not stay home against Trump or Cruz, and she'd beat Rubio too.

The same thing can be said about Bernie. I've heard several people on this thread (some who wrote it on others' walls in fear) that they'd swing for Trump if Hillary loses to Bernie, it's just as messed up. But I don't agree with the "they can **** right off" approach.
And I wouldn't be too sure about either Hillary or Bernie beating Rubio, I think it could go either way in that kind of race.

Since you've already got the views of multiple fans...
She's corrupt and works for the big corporations. In her emails that leaked, she tried to convince people to get free-trade agreements passed even though she claimed to be against them. She's conveniently changed her mind on a number of issues, has a number of previous scandals, and is currently undergoing an FBI investigation.
Although that video apparently takes some of her statements out of context, there's plenty of other videos out there that show who she really is. She's literally one of the biggest people in the establishment along with her husband Bill. They've ran American politics for decades and if you look up their history you'll see how they're influenced by big corporations with all the money they give them for speeches. There's no way she can care so much about the American people like she claims she does and still help the companies.
And I find it slightly ironic that she continues to cling to Obama even though she's running a "no we can't" campaign, criticizing other plans as unrealistic. She's literally the opposite of Obama in that regard.
I'm sure one of the Hillary Sisters will attack me now.

I am sure Trump doesn't his support this, but those voters mentioned in this poll
Quote:
Nearly 20 percent of Trump’s supporters disapprove of Lincoln freeing the slaves
A YouGov/Economist poll in January asked respondents if they approved or disapproved of "the executive order that freed all slaves in the states that were in rebellion against the federal government."
That executive order is better known as the Emancipation Proclamation. Thirteen percent of respondents — and "nearly 20 percent of Trump supporters," the Times reports, compared with 5 percent of Marco Rubio's — said they disapproved of it.
It gets even worse. An additional 17 percent of respondents said they weren't sure.

I can already guess where a chunk of those people come from

Doesn't this go to prove that "Bernie won NH by 20% cause he's from Vermont" is complete, absolute ********? It's also outright disrespectful and discrediting to the massive campaign he ran there.

20% is not a majority, it's not even a plurality.
If I was Trump in the general, I would just refuse to debate Hilary. Debates aren't required in any way, and the negatives of looking like an idiot are higher than looking like a wimp.

Reminds me of that Mississippi exit poll last decade that had 1/3 in disapproval of emancipation and almost half interracial marriage I wonder how many polled were from there
