BTW, a freemium play pays the exact same amount of money as a premium one to it's creators, so I don't see the issue for some of our greedy faves.

the only problem I see with money hungry artists is when they put the singles on VEVO but don't put them on Spotify which are both based on ads and free access, it's their choice if they want to share album or not

Well DUH & just like you said it, there's a BIG demand of people not wanting to pay money for a service but that are willing to "pay" in different ways, that's a market that can & is being exploded by freemium sites now-a-days.

This is the same sentiment I've had for years now. Music industry gets the short end of the stick because it is easier to pirate music than video games or movies but it is just as much of a business as the movie and gaming industries.. All these people demanding free music really reeks of entitlement. (btw, you get like 5 minute adds even when you pay for a movie ticket so)

GODify needs to create their own sort of App store I would love for that to be the future. Artist releasing digital content aside of their music (which they are already getting paid of).

The Kardashians are already doing it through their apps, so you know it IS the future, hihi.

The worldwide nominal GDP/capita is $10,000 per year, I'm sure it won't hurt you to pay 1-1.5% of your salary to listen to all the music you want, legally.

I used to be a freemium user in GODify & the advantages are BIG. You can listen to music offline if you want, listen to playlist the way you want, no ads, listening to songs the way you want (freemium does some random selections after you picked one song, which I guess here GODify gets paid by labels so whatever they are promoting now gets played after it), etc.

Just a general statement but Godify are not getting rid of their freemium service since people will find different means to listen to the music they want. The root of the problem is the people and the music industry has to find a way to change peoples minds (i.e. the way in which the view music).

Like imagine you're a music artist. You sit there and you write down lyrics, you play the instruments and start composing, creating melodies. You go to a studio and do the mixing. All in all a process that can take anywhere from 2 hours to several months and then somebody takes this, gives it away for free

Now imagine being Beyst and having dozens of people doing the same thing for each song and then that song being given away for free. No Ma'am, demanding free music like this is no the tea. Only you should get to choose how something you made from scratch gets consumed by the public.
