I feel this is a trial era to see if the GP is here for her experimenting with a whole new production team, new lyrical style, somewhat new genres etc. Even though she says that she doesn't care she does and so does the label, and ARTPOP is a little further from the typical GaGa sound we are used to and even though it's still good, the GP was probably thinking we were going to get something more GaGa-esq ala one of the past EP's which surprisingly had one of her signature producers on each of the EP's.
I honestly don't blame them because most artist evolve but keep their signature style intact. It's hard to explain but that signature style in music production which im feeling was Fernando ( Beyonce with Stargate or Neyo, Katy & K$ with Dr. Luke etc.) who would get one of his songs on the record which would deliver that signature sound ala also RedOne and people were here for that.
tl;dr - I can see her behind the scenes saying for the next era, okay the public didn't like this and pulls in (not all but some) producers from her past to give the public some of that sound back while also experimenting a little and progressing with some new production talent.
The problem is that GaGa doesn't tip toe she goes fully in when experimenting which turns the GP off.

I see what you mean but I disagree. I don't think the GP quite notices the producer switch up or even think about it really. I'd say the GP has grown to expect some signature things from Gaga but I'd say Aura, Venus and G.U.Y. probably best sum up the kind of signature sound that they've come to expect from her. As she has said in interviews multiple times she often times writes a lot of music when she tours because she sees what the audience responds to. She sees what the audience really enjoyed. During TFM/TMB people really responded to Paparazzi/DITD/BR so with BTW she went for an edgier, rockier, 80's sound with deep/empowering messages because those were the kind of things that everyone was responding best to during TFM era. Then with ARTPOP the tracks that fans really responded to were songs like Scheisse and HML fun, electronic, dance songs which is what ARTPOP delivered in spades.
I also think you're writing off this era too quickly. If this song spawns several successful singles and another good tour then this era likely won't be seen as so negatively as people currently are. I think she easily has 3-4 hits off this album which will definitely improve her image. I also think the market has changed a bit. When she arrived on the scene she was seen as a bit too "weird"; now with Applause it's too "pop/simple". Granted I think DWYW can change a lot of that perception.

And I told you all long ago that the NYC monsters are probably in it. As far as I know she is giving them body parts while she walks a catwalk or something. That's what I've read. So be ready for a weird video (sadly).
The ARTPOP sales are "ok". It's quite weird that even Fame Monster opened around the same number with such a huge hit? She just needs to build herself up again.
I don't agree with ARTPOP Act 2 though. Please NO. Or not too soon. It feels like POP EMERGENCY Part 325. And that mostly means we will get only one more single (watch it be Dope). I want her to milk the album! I still believe there are potential hits on it.
It actually makes me really sad cause it's like she is giving in what the GP wants and do commercial hit songs just to please them. Oh well.
Watch out Brooklyn Nights, Temple & Tea be on it and making the App even more useless.
And that means she won't tour till at least July/August or later. URGH. And she probably will start her tour in US (rightly) so that means us Europe won't get it till end of Year or even 2015. Double URGH.
Finally, my radio station started stanning for DWUW yay!!

Agreed for the most part. If she rush releases another album I can only see it being paid dust and giving into every little whim. Granted if she released an album or an EP in November 2014 that wouldn't be that bad. She could release the 4th single off ARTPOP in June and then premiere her new single off the next album in August/September and keep the train rolling like TF/TFM era or how Rihanna does

. Although I'd personally want to see her do that acoustic album she was thinking about with Rick Rubin. Do a 2 disc album one with new songs(and songs like living on the radio, princess Die, etc. that were never released) and then the second disc being an acoustic playlist of her big hits and personal/fan favorites.
