I had never watched one, and we just had one in my country (Argentina) because we're going to 2nd rounds (which means the results were too close on the election, and we have to go and vote again for one of the Top 2 candidates). Both sides clearly made an out-of-this-world effort not to slip from the script, but at one point, one of them apparently did because he started saying a lot of sentences that didn't make any sense at all. It was a cringeworthy experience from start to finish
