itunes chart updates are messy. When a new update pumps up an older one will follow. That's the story the last few weeks. You need to keep track of other songs movement on the chart to figure out which one is the latest. It's a mess.
I was just thinking about the money associated with TTAL. The album already sold almost 1.5 million copies ww. If you take the average price per album of $10 (its probably a bit low, but let's be pessimistic), the revenue from the album is $15,000,000 already plus singles and video sales.
What do you guys think were the costs associated with making the album and promoting it? Do you think they'd be higher than $7-8 million. I have no idea of costs in the music business. I mean I know what might be the costs, but I have no idea what are the amounts.
So if somebody has any idea of the costs please tell us. And we can track how much money Pink and the Label make through TTAL. I'd say the album already broke even and is making profits for both, Pink and the label.
