I really want her to have a meeting with:
-Capitol Records
-Her team
-Her PRISM producers and co writers
-"Charts" people, from Billboard or other "sources".
Then, she needs to talk about every single song which remained on PRISM and let all of these people(along with her) decide which song is more single worthy. Then, we will have the best decision. Fans and ATRLers must not tell her what to do.
But it's not a good look for her to be showing up there everyyear for no reason. She just ends up giving the show free promo.
I would love to hear her speech but chances are it won't happen.
Grammys are the most important music awards. She needs to show up, to promote a new song or album and being part of this important night. Katy will win a Grammy. People saying the opposite are delusional. She maybe win it in like 10 years after 30 nominations, but she will win one. Dark horse and Prism better do something. Dark horse has the legs to win a Grammy for her. And this will be the time that internet, ATRL, music industry will explode, like imagine . Her acceptance speech will be the "IT" of the night.
Ferras, who I guess isn't happy with the choice, created another fan poll. I emailed one of her (four) managers: "Katy didn't want to hear about which songs the fans or Billboard considered more single-worthy.They haven't been right since E.T." Does that mean Ferras is just a fan? .
Also, were people tweeting her "#THISISHOWWEDO" before it became a single or something?
I remember that whole situation.
She asked fans on twitter to choose the next single and everyone was tweeting Peacock but they chose E.T.

... Katy (/her tour manager) thinks Last Friday Night, The One, Wide Awake, (Dark Horse), Birthday and now Legendary Lovers are all evidence of her fans being wrong with single choices...? Obviously fans never directly picked them, but those songs were definitely the fans favourite choice at the moment they were picked as single.
Birthday and This Is How We Do are the only times it can be argued her fans were wrong, but if you argue that they were wrong about This Is How We Do then you have to admit that they were right about Birthday being a hit.
Apparently the last time we were right about a single is also the last time we were actually asked for an opinion though. Coincidence?
E.T. Definitely won that Twitter poll, don't even try it.
I honestly don't even care if Katy wins a Grammy. The Grammys are a joke now anyway. I mean, how artists like Lorde, Foxes and Cedric Gervais can get them without even trying while Katy has literally redefined success in pop music both for herself and others and is yet to receive one is nothing short of laughable.
Well yea, E.T. was the perfect choice but I still wish Peacock was a single after TOTGA, it would've gone #1, I think.

Not really. The fans always asked for LL or WoA (on Twitter).

Yeah, an award show that'll keep snubbing her if she keeps on giving them the impression that she's easy with her free yearly attendance. Like I said if DH does win a grammy, JJ can take the award and do the speech, as for Katy I'm sure USPS exists.
When you try to get receipts to clock someone and end up clocking yourself.
OK, I'll give Katy (/her tour manager) some of those as her fans being silly. Polls on her fan forum:
5th single: Last Friday Night (Landslide)
6th single: Peacock (Close: Hummingbird Heartbeat)
7th single: Hummingbird Heartbeat (Landslide, before re-release confirmed)
8th single: Neck and neck, Dressin' Up pulled ahead.
We were still right about Dark Horse and This Is How We Do though, and Dressin' Up/Hummingbird Heartbeat were guaranteed #1s, so we're right 90% of the time.

The nerve, the delusion , how can you not love her. She chose the song that could single-handedly kill the album if DH didn't happen on its own but I guess it's our fault that the song we didn't even know back then became a single.
I'm talking about the Egyptian theme as whole. I don't think they would repeat it...
She already said that if she were (which alone means no more singles from PRISM considering she said in the beginning of the era LL will be a single) to make a video, it would be Bollywood style in a recent interview.

Katy only became famous on 2008, Madonna won her first grammy 10 years after her first single, so Katy might get a grammy in 2018 or even earlier, if Drunk In Love doesn't win a grammy, Dark Horse might win.
And if not, more succesful singles will come out in the future.
