I'd recommend going abroad since it's an unique experience but you could always just do a summer/semester/one year abroad while studying in England.

Compare the costs and figure out which is more valuable

When professors legit assign you over a 100 pages for next class

Are they aware people have classes other than theirs + jobs, lives, etc? Weren't they college students too? I don't mind reading up to 50 pages, but if you go above that it's too much.

Pretty sure that's impossible to accomplish. I work 20h/week and that's pushing it.

That's almost the norm here. A lot of people have one or two jobs plus considered full time students. I can barely manage with being a part time student and employee. Like right after my class I have about 30 minutes to eat then I have to change into my uniform and hop on over to work until 10 tonight

I'm very annoyed that I failed my first Economics quiz. I was so confident and thought I was getting all the answers right And now we have an exam Thursday like I really wanna skip class today, its such a boring class.

Becoming a doctor genuinely is what I want but medical school is too hard and most importantly competitive... Especially when it's one of the top med schools in the world, I feel like I can't keep up with all the smart people around me...

I was used to feeling the smartest throughout my early education but I feel stupid at Imperial College lol

I rank 252th out of 330 despite having a 70% average

I've been testing the waters, doing at most 30 hours a week. Been doing pretty fine. At my job they usually schedule full timers 34.5 hours.

I only have class 4 days a week and usually only have to work 2 days after school until 11pm, I don't mind tbh. Then on the weekends, I do two full 8/9 hour shifts. And do all my homework on that one day break I have or when I don't have work after school.

hmm I guess it depends on your college and the work load you get and how many courses you take. if you've been doing fine then go for it but always make sure to put college first tbh

I'm not pre-med but I am pre-pharmacy so I'm still taking the same prerequisites as pre-med students and I'm taking the same classes as them. The classes are already hard af, everyone's so competitive

Heyy! You went to Imperial College? Do you remember that Emily girl who killed herself by jumping in front of a train? That was a mess. Way back 2009 I think. Or maybe later than that. But I remember getting intrigued about what happened and wanting to be admitted to Imperial lol!

Literally had 4 exams in one week. I had a 3 day long headache once Friday was over and I'm currently sick. Like, my immune system has been compromised girls.

And I'm howling cuz it went from easy to hard. Started with sociology, followed by psychology, physics, and then organic chemistry last. I did well on the first three but I'd be happy to get a B on Orgo, which is like a 60 without a curve (her test averages are like 49/50 )
