Romney and Obama close race in North Carolina. This news anchor is saying that the Obama staff thought this was a sure Romney win, but Obama's only trailing by ~20k votes.
If Obama wins Ohio (which seems very likely) how slim are the chances of Romney winning this election?
Very slim. He has to also win Virgina, North Carolina, Florida, and some of the western states to have a chance (and he's losing in all of them in the west)
Electoral college and Popular vote are thrown out. It goes to the House for President and Senate for VP.
If it were to happen this time (which it won't) it would end up Romney as president and Biden as VP because of the slants of both parts of congress
