Looking at XL's 2011 ww shipped figures (18.5 million?), I reckon that Music Charts is probably calling the actual sales of '21' more accurately than Mediatraffic at the moment.....
I know, it is crazy, but it looks about right to me, given the shipped figures released by XL. Shipped will probably be well over 25 million now, given the fact that she's just gone 16x platinum in the UK even though her actual sales are approx 500k less than that. expect a similar (or even larger) 'cushion' in the US also so there's probably a million on retailers shelves in just those 2 countries.
Though its making me sad...its going to be the best selling album of the 21st Century right?
