It's definitely a grower, but the LQ also helps my little fantasy of singing this to myself with my crush looking on as I belt out that D5 for the gods and him realizing his love for me

It least it doesn't sound like it totally came from 2008. She needs a TOTAL sonic revamp, but I suppose this is good for those folks that want that "classic" Mariah sound.

I do NOT appreciate how little funk Mariah uses, she sounds incredible on Heartbreaker (Remix) and Don't Stop both funk driven productions. She needs to get the hell away from the basic finger snaps and 808's and get the grooooove all the way into her music for up tempos and strip it back acoustic folk like for her slower songs so her lyricism can shine away from the unattractive generic production around it.
