I hope she doesn't, but if she does break the record, I will still find Britney's more impressive. Taylor has the luxury of playing to both mainstream and country audiences (and to an extent, adult contemporary.) She's a crossover act. A huge name in country music (the most loyal audience) and also a pop star with a massive teen following. Britney didn't have a diverse audience or support across multiple formats back when “Oops!” was released. Her audience consisted entirely of pre-teens still asking for allowances. The numbers she pulled were a testament to the immense phenomenon she as at her peak.
Let's just re-post this quote everywhere if it magically happened.

yep and they didn't even put out a 1.3M prediction figure for ha, as of yesterday they kept saying it would be over 1 million:

The storm disruption, which affects several of the biggest U.S. cities could have some impact on sales for artists whose releases still enjoy strong physical-CD sales, like Taylor Swift
Aww.
Even if she did break it though, the other stanbases would have a lot of nerve tryin it though.
I don't know why people are not talking about her only Grammy performance. It was amazing. She sang live and her vocal was amazing. Her dance moves were incredible. the idea of having those robots dancing on stage were very creative. Oops! maybe people have been very busy talking about the overrated 2003 VMA performance
