I mad at y'all for not being an audience for my ATRL Idol. There are some really talented vocalists participating like Clark, JonathanLGardner, Taste of Honey, and Mani. You should really check it out.

I agree but when people (of both races) aren't willing to admit it they are worsening the problem but making it seem like a non issue. The ignore it and it'll go away method doesn't work because prejudice of any kind is like a cancer, it just keeps growing and growing until something puts a stop to it. Also, when you think it's god it can still come back just as bad or even worse.

I also hate that white people spread their ******** logic all across the globe. Colorism can be found in any community of color simply because of colonization. Lighter-skinned people were given more rights than their darker-skinned counterparts. White people really managed to **** up everything they could get their hands on

My belief is that white people will never admit to have the advantage but they know deep down they have it. It's much easier to brush it off and buy into people saying it doesn't exist then to face the facts and try to stop the problem. It makes them feel guilty knowing what there ancestors did, what their family members possibly think and knowing that in society they are automatically seen as smarter, are more respected, deemed infinitely more attractive and have benefits that blacks could never receive.
However it's not just white people, ya'll will get on me for mentioning this but I do believe colorism benefits lighter skinned blacks in society (main society, not the black community). The way some light skinned blacks completely deny this is ignorant too but I can at least excuse them because darker skinned blacks give them **** for being light too so it may feel like they get it from both sides really. Still, the way the some light skinned people deny that the majority white society prefers them is often times the same way whites don't see their privilege.
White people are not (naturally) evil, it's just that they are seeing everything from an outside perspective so it's easy for ignorance to form. The problem is most white people don't why to be educated on us or other minorities. They don't want to learn about black culture, they want to see us all as one morphed image because it's not hurting them to do so. When would their inward anti-black prejudice be a problem for them? They don't need us to succeed but because the way society is set up we need them.
That's why (regardless of it's ratchetness at times) I really appreciate BET and things of the like. Often times as soon as a token black person because successful they go against there own people to stay successful and stay that token black person ex Don Lemon, Clarence Thomas etc. The point is that it's not that their evil, it's that they hold the power to use these evils against you and the power to band together and pretend this power doesn't exist.
If this were a superhero movie white people would be the evil villains terrorizing the minorities and then there would be that one villain out of how many that decides to leave the villain side and join the good.
EDIT: Not me typing up a damn multi paragraph thesis (the only one too) in like 6 minutes but when I need to do **** like this for school I go blank.
If only you'd put this much effort in your school work.
