I agree. hated it at first cause i wanted something more lyrically complex then i realized the simplicity was a device in itself for a song of that nature and part of the charm.

Honestly this and it's so annoying knowing that those songs will probably stay shelved since her label is extra strict and careful now and she's not the type of artist to give other singers her songs so we'll never hear them

But omg just looked back at her unreleased for the first time in a while. The studio tracks are pretty good, as well as a small handful of the acoustic demos, but God her voice was absolutely horrendous I was cackling at how bad she sounds.
