well idk about favorites in hollywood, but these award shows really work around the whole "who has the best industry connections" game, with Luke doing well at country music award shows since he has many connections with the nashville music industry and Carrie doing well at the prestigious award shows like the Grammys for her L.A. industry connections.
Both artists are talented, its just a matter of whom they know to support them at these award shows
...Of course there are plenty of exceptions, but after Carrie has been rejected for several CMAs/ACMs and Luke not even getting Nominated for Grammys...ever, something's gotta give
