I'm so excited for Ed writing more songs for this album.
And Niall playing guitar on the tracks, too.
So guys, 1D have said they would love to have more male fans. Apparently they're going for a more rock-oriented sound this time around, but do you guys think that will be enough to earn a large number of male fans? Or will 1D unfortunately always be victim to the boy band stigma and never really have a massive male following?
I think the latter, to be honest. I hope they get more male fans, but I don't really see it happening.
I'm gonna go ahead and agree with you, at least for a few years. If they can continue to build their artistry and contribute more to their music, their fanbase will become more universal.

It seems like they're doing just that on this album (building artistry + contributing more to music), so that means they're headed in the right direction. I don't expect this album to do wonders in the artistic sense (that's the third album's job) but I'm just expecting this album to hopefully cement them as a WW force (they are already, but really just solidify what they have).
Apparently WMYB is still pretty big in America, and OT sounds like it's very slowly starting to very pick up, and we also have the new lead single coming pretty soon. So I don't know what's going to happen; OT becomes really popular around the time the new single is released and we have a Cheers/We Found Love situation or OT doesn't pick up in time and UAN only has one big hit in the US.
I'm not worried, though, the guys have sold out Madison Square Garden in December and that means they'll be in America to promote the new album and it will still be a major success.

I'm so proud and overwhelmed by their success in America.
One Thing is weird. It was picking up here while they were on tour, but then WMYB sort of free fell and then One Thing started rising again when they left? But I think now it's stagnant. They really should perform it somewhere.
I'm not sure I'd be here for more than ten minutes of "Moments" type songs, but if they're as happy as he described them I'm sure they'll be a perfect fit.
I love love songs, I want a song like As long as you love me
So, there's a new rumor about this "Alanha Aldridge" the one who dated and had sex with Harry, she's back and she's now "dating" with Niall aiosgkakldh.,aklh,a.hahla.sdalk,m adbk,m anszkl, amdnxklz,.alaga
Don't listen to Jack, he's Scottish. The country only uses him when a certain person has a chance in tennis
But in all seriousness, back to what JD was saying....I hope they get more male fans, Justin Beiber won't be the way to go though
Also, I'm sure the boys can online to ATRL, me and Jack will make Niall and Zayn very welcome
The Scotland/Andy Murray/personal shade.
But yes I agree, they should come on ATRL, we'd welcome them well.
