You guys can't act as if Beyoncé is going to open big with no problem.

The 4 era had massive promo in the beginning. Oprah finale performance & Billboard performance being huge.

This day and age, R&B music is DEAD. At least in 2011, Jill Scott was able to get #1. BUT Bey has Superbowl promo, an HBO Special (which won't affect her sales much TBH) & Potentially other high-profile performances. I hope she debuts big, but I wouldn't get your hopes up with anything substantially greater than 4's numbers; which are still very good.

And you guys need to stahp. Usher and Alicia Keys are on Bey's levels in terms of talent. However, Their numbers being small, doesn't mean Bey will automatically be low, since they didn't and won't have as many high-profile performances as Bey will have. Bey has the freaking superbowl, so she will do more.

Music is in a bad place.just because she did 2.8 million last era doesn't mean it'll happen again.music sells decrease every year.Beyonce really needs success in both fields to sell anything over 3 million.I just don't won't her to jump on the dance trend.because then her urban audience will think she's jumping ship.she needs pop music like the IASF era.most of her urban audience liked IIWAB/H more than the urban singles.

Music isn't selling well because radio is biased.

Music isn't selling well because the most exposed artist are not creating anything with a personal identity.

Hence Adele slaying everybody this year.

Yeah these indie artist are different than the generic pop, but when do they get the same promo as a pop star?

Ask yourself this...
Do you buy music unless it is good & different something WORTH buying.
Cause I don't.

Usher is on par with Beyoncé in terms of dancing. Almost on par with her vocally, not quite. Alicia is not on par w/ Beyoncé at all vocally. She is a better composer/lyricist though.
