It was hard for me to compete last week because of vacation. However that is no excuse. I let my team down, I let myself down. I screwed up last week, and I ****ed up this week. Hello, Citrus! Thanks to you and the judges for all of your critiques! I think I deserve to stay because I still have a lot to prove to all of you. I feel like this challenge didn't bring out the best of me but we all have our moments so I believe that the most important thing is to learn from our mistakes. That's why the next time I have an opportunity to prove what I can do, I'm going to seize it and do my best. If you give me a second chance, you will be able to see the "queen" in McQueen rise. Calypso Celeste

Citrus and judges, I will admit that I got lazy with this challenge. I'm not going to sit here and make excuses for why I never submitted a pm because it is my own fault; I was just busy at work which combined with the fact that my group basically wrote the entire song in one sitting lead me to sit back and not feel the need to contribute much. I'm disappointed that I didn't apply myself more, as group challenges have never been my forte. Going forward in the competition, I'm much more ready to participate in future challenges and display what Calypso is truly capable of, both in group and individual challenges. I'm determined to develop my drag persona in this game and I think Calypso is a queen that you are going to want to see more of. I'm trying to parallel this game to my real world drag vision because it is one of my passions, and I'm ready to apply myself in this contest. There's a lot more to Calypso that I really want to show off, and I would hate if I left this competition after just the second challenge because I was busy and riding the coattails of my teammates. My vision of Calypso is sickening, mysterious, mythical. I don't really see myself as a outgoing, leader-like queen, so that's where my shortcomings were in this group challenge. I see Calypso as a more quiet, independent queen in a seductive, sultry, and luring way, just like in greek mythology, and I'm ready to present that to the judges. Stans Behaving Badly



This week, we are going to put your people skills to the test. What's a drag queen if she can't command a crowd? The answer is Darcy, but we won't get into that. For this challenge, each of you is tasked with getting as many ATRL members as you can to post Rupaul's Drag Race quotes and GIFs in this thread and credit you specifically. Quotes must be easily identifiable or attributable to a specific queen or moment. So no generic ones like "Ooh, shade."

You will get 1 point for every person who posts a quote (like "Go back to party city where you belong"), 1 point for a GIF (like this), and 2 points for a GIF with a quote (like this). Members can credit your drag name or your username, either is fine. You will get a point deducted if a quote or GIF was used previously in the thread in any way. So be careful what you ask them to say.

Posts will be counted for points from now until Friday, August 14 @ 10:00 PM EST.

Clarifications

-Members may only support each contestant once; they can post different quotes for different members though. For example, Posh can post a GIF for Carrie Messiah and a new GIF for Nellie Boddum. But Posh couldn't post two GIFs for Carrie.

-All GIFs/quotes must come from RuPaul's Drag Race, Untucked, or Drag U. Web shows like Alyssa's Secret, GIFs of outside of the show performances, and others won't be counted.

-Things ended early. Around 12:00 something AM Friday morning. Y'all did too much.
