"This video is different that the other ones, because the other ones have very strong narratives or storylines, and I wanted to go a different route, one that was based on beauty and glamour and gorgeous shots," she said. "[There's] a little less of a storyline, but there is one part in the music video where I get hit by a car, because it's a metaphor to talk about when love finds you, it's kind of being like hit by a car."

Oh I was hoping for an epic storyline about two star crossed lovers Oh well, I'm sure it'll still slay
Even though the song is pretty boring, that was a stunning, flawless performance by Katy. She even managed to hit the right notes most of the time and it was just visually beautiful. The last chorus was pretty epic. That was amazing Katy. Very very well done.

In the U.S. on MTV2, a total of 263,000 viewers watched the EMAs, a 241 percent jump over the average for the time slot and the highest rating ever for the event stateside.
Even it doesn't right now, this is still a decent boost. Don't expect anything major until the video release and the AMA performance which will have far more viewers. I'd expect them to officially announce her soon. She's the last big female pop girl who has yet to be announced, so I imagine they're saving the best for last Open up the slayage and let it begin

Her performance was visually stunning! She also sounded okay for someone like her.
I just hope she had chosen to do this theme at the AMAs instead considering how relevant and watched the show is compared to the EMAs. It would've gotten a lot of attention and admiration especially if she did better with her vocals.
