Write-up:
The highest entry of Taylor Swift in the list is The Story Of Us. At first, I wasn’t into this song especially with the promo video includes only a concert footage. The radios and television keep it playing for a couple of times and I find myself slowly liking the song. When the official video was finally released, it was just the right time for me to absolutely love it. The Story Of Us is about the awkwardness that takes place between two people after they break up. This is best described on the music video. This song is a fun song; you can compare this to her single You Belong With Me. Taylor Swift surprised me this year, her music keeps on getting better and better with all thanks to her releases on Speak Now. In two or three years from now, I can say that she will be the new queen of country music. Let’s just have to wait for that.

Lady Gaga is here once again, and this time it’s with the second single from Born This Way, the controversial Judas. What can I say? if you say this one is bad or worse, I don’t care about it. The reason perhaps this song is not successful commercially is because of the anti-Christ themed of the song plus the title itself can be judged easily. Despite that, Judas came to be one of my favorite songs to listen from her album. The energetic tune and the insane lyrics will really get you up and dance. As for the music video, it has to be one of the best for 2011. I effin’ love the pop references being used all throughout the video. Lady Gaga portrays the modern day Mary Magdalene while the video concept is about the modern version of the death of Jesus Christ. I’m absolutely impressed with the video when I first saw it. To sum up, Judas may be judged by its lyrical content but you have to admit that this is one of her best. Haters gonna hate!

Papi was easily one of my instant favorite from Love? and it is no wonder it made it to my top 50 list. This song got introduced to me by the break dance part on the I’m Into You music video, and from then on I was hoping this one will be released next. Papi is such a fun pop dance tune. It makes you wanna dance to to the beat whenever it is playing. It reminds me of the classic Jennifer Lopez dance tune way back in the early 2000’s. The music video is also a fun and amazing video. I love the concept of Jennifer being chased by all types of men causing catastrophe all throughout the streets. The break dance is another highlight of the song, epic choreography once again. Though Papi is a standout track from Love?, it failed to be a success especially in the US. Nevertheless, this will be included as one of my favorite Jennifer Lopez songs of all time.
