She never really talked about the song, it was released out of nowhere, no promo, no lyrics or music video etc so I just assume that this is just a little buzz single and they do not plan to push this any further.

Not really tho. I guess they wanted to create buzz and get a few plays on radio for the tour. Like "tune in to hear Demi Lovato's new single!!1!!!1 she's on tour right now, go and get your tickets!!1!1!!"

Obviously, no one sends a LEAD and current single to radio without any radio deal unless they don't want imminent success or the song is not an official single (look at Rise, they didn't waste money on a radio deal because it is not her lead singe)
