That goes back to my other point, where it felt like when Jackson said 'us' it felt like more than 2 people, I forgot what exactly but he said something that specifically meant it in that way.

And to add to that, here's another theory.
And maybe the teacher was there to also help stop the puppetior from controlling the puppet...... So we have 3 different sides trying to stop the Kanima/puppetior.
And that hot girl dancing with him....he could no way get a date like that. Maybe she's working with him, sort of like a team? A team that specifies in Kanimas, like the Argents are with werewolves.....and their tactics are probably different, as the Kanima is not the one who's killing it (the controller is), so they're stopping the controller controlling the Kanima.
