I gotta say that it was pretty hard to watch this season. Not because it was bad, it was great but it was so ****ing heavy. I had to do some crying breaks of like 30 minutes after that episode where Lolly confess she killed

I kinda hope Daya doesn't shoot the cop. She's not a very interesting character but please just don't

This season and S2 show that this show is at it's best when it goes darker and focuses more on the drama aside of "dramedy"

Season 3 gets a bit too much hate. Honestly, if you go back and watch it (I noticed this after I rewatched it after my initial disappointment with it) but it was entirely setting up for season 4. It was literally just developing and laying the groundwork for Season 5. Season 2, in all its glory, did a **** job of setting Season 3 up for anything good.

The only thing Season 2 set up Season 3 for was Caputo replacing Fig, Vee's stolen heroine, Bennette confesses to Caputo... That's about it... Season 3 did a phenomenal job of setting up Season 4 to have a lot of stuff to work with. And Season 4 did a great job of setting up Season 5, which is why there are a lot of unresolved storylines.

Daya probably won't shoot him, I feel like the maximum she will do is to threaten him in order to get what they want

Agreed. They already had Taystee get out and then get put back in - but that made sense because of her circumstances, she really had nowhere or no-one to turn to outside of prison. Aleida should be able to rebuild her life if she works hard enough at it and she has more options for places to crash than Taystee did. Ugh, this makes me even more sad now about Poussey - one of the reasons Taystee didn't find it too difficult to decide to go back into prison was because she would be with her friend again.

And Caputo really messed up by not even naming Poussey, not just because it was completely disrespectful, but because there will be so many people outside of prison just seeing the news wondering if it was their daughter/mother/sister/wife/friend etc. who got killed at Litchfield, just like Aleida was when we saw her watching the news.

The first episode of S5 is going to be absolute chaos. I don't know if Daya will pull the trigger, but someone will.
