I mean, lets say he did fall asleep at 8:22pm he would have defo been awake by 8am as that would be 12 hours of sleep, so lets just say he slept 8/9 hours - He would have woken up at 4am/5am, now there couldn't possibly be anything he had to rush out of bed and do at that time of the morning, and not have the chance to check his phone.
Even if there was, it's now almost 7pm, 23 hours since our last message and he hasn't checked his phone once? Surely he would have the WhatsApp notification showing, and if he doesn't, surely he would have thought "let me check WhatsApp quickly".
Hmm... He must be hiding something from me.
I just decided to use IKAG to describe my own experience with 522s. 
it's like sending an hr to reverse a point but then you replying that it can't happen because a mod decided to give you one and that's that. Like why else would i have sent one in the first place. Gets?
