They are the Fourth Largest retailer IN THE WORLD after Walmart, Carrefour (French Chain), and Tesco (English chain), Yes, we are bigger than Target but we only have a presence in the United States

New York is home to 130,000 square foot Wegmans stores, I'm SURE Kroger could put a few 90,000 square foot stores in with No problem.

That, and A&P/Pathmark are becoming Endangered species.

Walmart is doing small format stores too.

There are many walmarts in NY

We also have Stop & Shop. Some of them are as big as a regular Walmart store

There are no Krogers in the Chicagoland area. I've never heard of the store outside this forum tbh.

Walgreen's bought out a local chain here in NC last year.I found it unnecessary as they already have a bunch of stores here on every corner.
