I'm undecided whether I'd like it to happen or not. I definitely see the advantages outweighing the disadvantages as long as the two volumes would count as one "album", however it would be messy.
She'd probably be against re-releasing ARTPOP with an EP and not classing it as a "new album", but that would certainly be beneficial. Guess it depends how the original LP fares and if it could do with a boost.
Maybe she should just make sure ARTPOP is the absolute best of the best, and if she has any left over, just get going on album #5 so there is only an 8 month wait when the last ARTPOP single is released.
Not a threat. Just competition easily avoidable on both sides. They are friends and likely working together.
Well, a song performed on the SB will inevitably go #1 on iTunes (GMYAL was at 98% and got deleted by the label and had lost hype by the time it came back in the top10. And Madonna is a crap digital seller). And Beyoncé's lead will likely be a safe, radio-candy choice.
But yes, Beyonce's lead single will be a hit this time around thanks to the Super Bowl.
Im still waiting for Gaga to give me a beautiful ballad Something soft on the ears unlike speechless and Y&I. Im definitely not getting that from ARTPOP
I don't think the lead single will debut in the top 5
I think it will, because Vince is going to make sure its everywhere for streaming. I just don't think they'll have a radio deal this time for longevity but it will debut top 10 then work its way to #1. So I hope she premieres it at the Grammys then lets it grow on its own. I don't want much promo this era, the music should be strong enough to carry itself
