Well let's be honest, it's not like her career going into 2015 was very lucrative anyway.
If she takes 2015 to build up her credibility with Jazz performances and has well timed and thought out public appearances, it could be a great year for ha. Drop the lead sing no sooner than Fall 2015 tbh, she needs to distance herself from her current public image for as long as possible.
I cannot believe that the Cheek to Cheek era will be a thing for past 2014.

What she is doing right now is logical I think. Just look Rihanna. She hasn't dropped her new album but she makes public appearances, keeps herself popular and talked in a way.

Her career is more that lucrative.
Her image isn't damaged. I don't think it's a case of that people don't like Lady Gaga, it's just bad PR from her team. She can and will recover big time.
In 2012 she started the Born This Way Ball.
In 2014 she started the artRAVE Ball.
In 2013, the BTW Ball ended. She had her hip problem and didn't "do" anything (February - July) and came back in August with a good lead single that radio played and that people bought. She basically survived her long break.
In 2015, her tour will be over and she'll be touring to support her Jazz album and probably start her new era in September or later.
It's the same situation tbh. She's fine, her career will be fine.
